Beliefs are emotionally held opinions about something or someone in our life.
Excellence is our unique ability to outperform and surpass our skills and abilities and do something remarkable.
Each one of us can create our belief system.
From a very young age, our beliefs start forming by what we hear from our parents, our siblings, our relatives, our family and friends. We take on their beliefs and experiences, and if something comes true, we reinforce our beliefs.
Our beliefs influence our entire life, and our success and achievements directly result from our thoughts. We see people around us do amazing things, and some of our role models in real life can be very inspiring.
Don’t you think that they will have faced the same or similar challenges as you do each day?
What if you could take on their belief systems instead?
Everything starts from within, and if someone else has achieved success, we can acquire the same feat.
Some common beliefs of excellence successful people have are:
- Everyone has a unique perception of the world.
- Everyone makes the best choice available to them when they make it.
- There is no failure, only feedback
- Behind every behaviour is a positive intention
- The meaning of communication is in its effect.
- There is a solution to every problem
These are beliefs of excellence are also defined as presuppositions in NLP. However, you don’t have to limit yourself to just these.
A quick tip is to ask the people who inspire you to talk about their beliefs. Replicate their habits and the way they handle difficult situations.
Build your beliefs, and you will also be able to influence, empower and inspire everyone around you.
