Remember the last time you had a headache and took medicine to fix it?

Although the symptoms were gone in a few minutes, the headache never disappeared. 

Remember when you had a recurrence of the same headache after a few weeks or months? 

How much do you think of the root cause for your problems? 

We all generally tend to focus on the immediate problems and solve the symptoms instead of the root cause. 

There is no issue with this approach, but we always have to look at the big picture. 

We must remember that every action comes with consequences, and if we only focus on the results, we will always face adversity because we cannot guarantee the results of our efforts. 

Understanding the root cause of our problem can help us get rid of it forever. 

Focusing on the root cause prepares us for future opportunities and possibilities.

Focusing on the root cause gives us the momentum we need to learn and grow from our mistakes. 

For example, suppose the root cause of our headache is lack of sleep, and we focus on improving our sleeping habits. In that case, the result will probably be a better-rested body and a relaxed mind, thereby reducing the headaches naturally.  

We often find ourselves at the crossroads of making short-term (symptoms) or long-term (root cause) decisions.

What if you could find the courage to go after the root cause all the time?

What if you focused on your actions instead of consequences?

• Practice daily meditation to remain relaxed and calm.

• Practice challenging your comfort zone by thinking longer-term instead of short-term.
